The Additional Data File provides you with extra topographical information for the TUMONZ map including: additional contour lines (already included in Standard TUMONZ, but as filled polygons only), scrub and scattered scrub layers, cliff edges, shelterbelts, fences, and point heights. These are displayed as extra layers that can be viewed and customized in the same fashion as all existing map layers.

What does the Additional Data include?

There are many important files on this CD:

1. A TUMONZ Update - An updated version for TUMONZ is provided on this CD. Also included in this update is the FREE map book, NZ Schools 2003. If you are running a previous version of TUMONZ you may update off this executable. However, visit the updates page first as there may be an even more recent release available there as a free download.
   
   
2. TZAdditional.cme - This file contains these additional topographic vector map layers.
   • Regional Council Boundaries (Only available for Version 2)
   • Territorial Local Authority Boundaries (Only available for Version 2)
   • Contour lines (20, 40, 60, 80 & all 100m increments)
   • Point heights
   • Fences
   • Shelterbelts
   • Scrub
   • Scattered scrub
   • Cliff edges
   • Ski Tows
   • Ski Lifts

3. Route Solving.
   If you purchased TUMONZ subsequent to version 1.4, you will already have the following two essential files and will not need to do anything further. However, if you have updated from the web from an early version number and have not downloaded these two files previously you will need to run them as self-installing executables to enable automatic route solving.
   
   
4. TZRouteFindingNI.exe - If you have updated TUMONZ from the website from version 1.4 or earlier you will require this file to enable North Island Route Solving. If you have not already downloaded this file from the website, then run the executable.
   
   
5. TZRouteFindingSI.exe - If you have updated TUMONZ from the website from version 1.4 or earlier you will require this file to enable South Island Route Solving. If you have not already downloaded this file from the website, then run this executable.
   
   
6. Map Books - All the map books currently available for TUMONZ are also supplied on the additional CD to save you time and money instead of downloading them yourself. The Map Books currently been supplied on the additional CD include:
   • NZ Restaurant Guide 2003 - Requires purchase for activation.
   • NZ Fishing Points 2003 - Requires purchase for activation.
   • NZ Camping Guide - Requires purchase for activation.

What does the Additional Data look like?
