What are the High Coverage Aerial Photos?

This is a module specifically for TUMONZ 4 and higher. It includes all high coverage ortho aerial photo sets that date from 1995 to 2006. These are provided by LINZ. The 2002 – 2006 sets are in colour. Earlier sets are in Black & White. Together they cover around 70% of NZ and include most inhabited rural ad urban areas. Their resolution is 2.5m per pixel. This makes them very useful for browsing rural landscaped but not for detail at the urban ‘section’ level. The photos are accurately spatially referenced.
