TUMONZ Professional has some important additional high-end capabilities for the business and professional user:
ESRI Shape support. This includes importing ESRI shape data exporting shapes generated within Tumonz as ESRI shape data and viewing and editing the dbf file. These capabilities are generally used for map building and viewing purposes. However the uses are wide ranging, for instance, we note that a large portion of aerial and ground spreader operators use Tumonz Professional for uploading job boundaries and downloading tracks from their onboard navigation systems.
There is specific support for the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). You can prepare the forest and stand maps with/without unstocked areas and a Tool configures the dbf file (attribute file) allowing you to enter your data e.g. CAA and then export to MAF. Your forest maps can be prepared in TUMONZ or imported from another GIS.
The capability to link directly to large databases of ESRI Shape data for viewing within TUMONZ but leaving data external to TUMONZ (a typical purpose would be to load large map data sets for viewing purposes only).
The Animation Tool in Tumonz 5 Professional is used every week in Police 10/7 and is appropriate for the media and graphics industry. It allows quick capture of zoom-in, zoom-out and pan sequences. For a zoom/pan sequence set key-frames and then EITHER create a movie avi directly - specifying run time, frames per second and frame quality OR save frames as bmp or jpg images for subsequent processing.
The capability to ‘bring in’ external Ortho photo sets (and map scans- say as tif or jpg formats with world files) into the TUMONZ proprietary CMI format. TUMONZ proprietary CMI format provides automated high-speed image rendering. CMI files created in TUMONZ Professional can be loaded by Standard TUMONZ applications.
If you are in the finance sector you may want to see who are the key finance providers and where they currently hold mortgages. This information is included in the Legal Title data in TUMONZ Professional. Selecting the relevant map style will ‘paint’ the map according to company.

TUMONZ Professional is supplied on DVD. There is a one-off license charge of $1,450 (inclusive of GST). This charge includes the High Coverage Aerial Photos module. .
