In Tumonz 9 you can now easily export your map data and make it available on any mobile device; your own or someone you want to share the map with. Below is an example of exporting client locations from the Tumonz map data to be used on a mobile phone (or tablet); you can even use the pins in the mobile map for route planning. Click on any image below to enlarge it.
You can easily display any of your Tumonz map data on the online map – the example shows a number of client locations on the satellite map.
Switch to Street View to look at routes or other detail – click on icons on the map to display additional information.
Export selected data to KML if you need to share the data online. In the example the client location icons are displayed on the Tumonz Topo250/50 map style.
Go to My Maps online and add a new map. Import the data you exported from Tumonz.
Selecting map objects displays additional information, and you can also quickly plan routes to points (from your current location).
Share the map with anyone you choose – there are several settings to control who can see the map (and whether they are allowed to make changes).
Using the shared link anyone can view the online map on any mobile device.
Maps can also be viewed on a mobile phone – handy if you want to view the map on the go!
